"The Purple Songbird Remembers" is a box cut from Alabama Creme Marble. The piece is encrusted with chunks of tumbled Lemon and Mystic Blue Topaz, faceted Labradorite beads, Lavender Amethyst, and Ametrine. Adorning the box's lid is a Gold Leafed Brass Branch sprinkled with Multi-Color Sapphires, and Amethyst Leaves. Perched on the branch is a Gold Leafed Bronze Songbird that is coated in Purple Mica Powder and sprinkled with Multi-Color Sapphires. The box is resting on Gold Leafed Bronze Feet, and the inside bottom of the piece is coated with a finish containing Purple Mica Powder and edged with Purple Amethyst. 
 
The box is a one-of-a-kind piece and is signed by the artist.
